One of the problems I have with Howl’s Moving Castle The Movie is that Howl’s Moving Castle The Book was already confusing and patchwork and uneven and THEN Miyazaki decided to make it steampunk and fill it with flying machines. I was hoping he’d also make it make sense, but I guess that was asking too much.
